The Purse Declutter

In this first episode of Less Mess in Minutes, I’m starting with something that has been driving me absolutely crazy: my purse. Even after pulling out a handful of receipts over the weekend, it was still filled with mystery crumbs, random objects, and way too many “how did this get in here?” surprises.

Join me as I empty everything onto a flat surface, sort the entire mess into simple categories, and talk through my decisions in real time — from receipts and tissues to forgotten inhalers, old gift cards, cough drops, and a remote control (yes… a remote control).

In this episode, you’ll hear:
• Why I declutter based on frustration level
• The importance of dumping everything out — even if it gets worse first
• All the "treasures" discovered at the bottom of my purse
• How I group items into easy categories (papers, trash, meds, tissues, money, makeup, etc.)
• My process for deciding what actually deserves a spot in my purse
• What gets tossed, what gets relocated, and what gets a “to-do later” pile
• How much lighter and more functional my purse feels afterward

Whether you’re decluttering your own purse, work bag, wallet, or tote — or just listening for a little motivation — you’ll hear exactly how simple and doable this tiny task can be.

Small steps. Big calm.
Let’s make a little progress together.
